worked for me for about a month.....then after that ta-daaa! move over people ,pimply chin coming through. Also the consistency is not as thick as the first bottle i purchased. I dont know maybe they are tring to cut down on some of the ingridients beacuse i bought this one and the bodyshop vit c boost serum and BOTH had the thin consistency mixture.... not like it used to be. not a happy customer :(

Like the reviewer before me, I'm not 100% sure what this is supposed to be doing for me, but I love it. I got it in swap, so I can't comment on the price, but it's great for healing my acnes. I have very oily skin, yet it's dry and my pores clog easily. This lotion moisturizing my skin, without being heavy. I only use it at night, but even in humid central Florida this doesn't make my face sweat.
I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but this stuff really shrinks cystic acne, and unblocks raised, clogged pores almost overnight. It's a good thing me and my skin are not sensitive to perfume, because baby is this stuff scented!! It does smell like cut grass and flowers, and it's almost overwhelming at first, but it does fade quickly.
Instead of picking at my face I rub this on and then the blemishes are smaller in the morning. It also fades and heals fresh acne scars very quickly.
I can't say what it does for aging skin, and I'll never stop using my Philosophy Hope in a Jar and H2O2 lotions, but I love this over Salicylic Acid or Tea Tree Oil for acne.

I really like this stuff! I am not entirely certain what specifically it is doing for my skin but as far as moisturizers go, this one is perfect for my combination skin. I tend to have dry spots and so I do need something that is truly moisturizing and this is while still being light. It doesn't feel greasy and it isn't too heavy like a lot of other facial creams and moisturizers I've tried. It's pricey, but well worth it in my opinion, especially since a little bit goes a long way. I will definitely buy again when this runs out.

My absolute favorite skincare product! My sister turned me on to this, and I was skeptical at first. But it really has done wonders for my complexion. If I go one day without using it, I really see the difference. It seems to have done everything for my complexion--it has brightened, smoothed, softened, mattified...it smells so soothing, and feels cool and relaxing when you put it on. Yeah, I'm obsessed. I really don't think it's overpriced for how great it is.

The bottle recommends that this be used "day and night", but I only use it at nigh, because there is no sunscreen protection factor in this lotion. The main ingredient is kinetin, which is a plant-based antioxidant that is considered to rejuvenate and renew skin cells, however, there are different scientific opinions on kinetin's ability to do that. The lotion is exceptionally light and absorbs into my skin immediately. No greasy feeling at all. Smell like a freshly cut grass, but a little sweet, which I like, but realize that it's not everybody's favorite. However, the scent doesn't last long, so no worries. The best part is that it really makes my skin feel softer and smoother.
Update: took off one lippie for the packaging: there is still plenty of the lotion in the bottle, but the pump only blows the air.

I really love this. I am in the process of weaning myself off Olay moisturizers (they've become too waxy for me as of late) and since TBS was having a skincare buy 2-get-1-free, I bought this and the kinetin eye cream along with the new Seaweed cleanser (since the reformulation looked a bit more promising than the original). This is really good on my skin, it moisturizes well while being light on my face. I have been using it almost everyday for 3 weeks, and so far I have had no breakouts except for my usual hormone-induced chin zits and my skin does look more refreshed and refined. I also think the large pores on my forehead are getting smaller. I wish this was not so expensive, 1 oz (30 ml) for CAD$35 is a lot for me, and I also wish the pump had a locking mechanism, I hate that I have to put the little plastic cap back on the pump top. I will buy again as of right now.

Too light for my needs, although the pore cloggin on my forehead increased with using this product. No improvement overall with the kinetin stuff.

I kind of liked this as an under make up moisturizer. didn't cause any allergic reactions or anything and liked the smell. it just wasnt enough by itself so i was using it with illuminationg face cream. i have a normal/combo sensitive skin. it was an ok product. nothing special at all. wont purchase it again.
***Update: It broke me up like CRAZY!wont repurchase it at all!

Horrible product. Didn't moisturize, gave a little for so much money. Did not firm, or reduce redness. Yikes!

I agree with caregirl12. You either love this stuff, or you don't.
At $25 per ounce, I had high expectations. However, if I applied it lightly, my face was dry again a few hours later (definitely NOT 24-hrs). If I applied it more generously, it was very greasy.
I also strongly disliked the fragrance and either it or the spearmint was irritating to my face because my face was significantly redder when I was using this. It also gave me a cool-rush when I applied it with some minor touchiness, which I didn't like.
Finally, this stuff broke me out across my cheeks (not a normal breakout area for me). My assumption is that the palmitate was pore-clogging since most of them are cosmedogenic rated at a 4 (5 is the worst).

I love this product. I'm on my second bottle and in the winter my skin gets very very dry. I find that using half a squirt of this and a teeny tiny bit of cortizone 10 works WONDERS. Especially because I'm fair skinned and tend to have some red dry blotchy spots. I'd recommend trying that if you have the similar problem in the winter. I would imagine doing this in the summer would just make your skin too oily. I will definitely keep repurchasing this product.

I started using this last year. Really a pleasant texture and smell. No breakouts and usually plant stuff like aloe makes me break out like crazy! The smile lines on my cheeks softened considerably and look more taut. Beautiful effects for such a reasonably priced product. I can at least afford this as compared to Kinerase! I bought my for sister in law and she loves it too and we have totally different skin. I have combo skin, dry cheeks oily tzone and she has dry skin. The bottle is tiny, but worth the price to me.

Granted, it's expensive, but it is an excellent product. Upon application my skin is instantly smooth and supple, and the effect lasts for hours. This stuff absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no greasy feeling and it doesn't cause my acne-prone skin to break out. After using this product for a few months, I feel it has transformed the texture of my skin. No product has done this for me before, so given the results, the price is worth it. I also love the scent.

I have been using this lotion for close to a year now and I really like it. I am 33 years old and have oily/combination skin. This lotion provides enough moisture for me and does not feel greasy at all. It has diminished the redness and blotchyness in my skin, and some lines I had on my forehead have disappeared. It has a fairly strong scent but it is fresh (almost like a crisp apple) and non-irritating. I like the pump container but it is hard to tell when you are running low due to the opaque bottle. I will continue to repurchase it.

This is a decent light moisture lotion. It leaves my skin very comfortable, not as tight as some other "light" lotions. However, it may not be enough for those with dry skin since it's very lightweight and absorbed quickly. At first, I dislike the smell of the lotion, but after getting used to it, it's not a big deal anymore.

This is meant to work for all skin types, but I can tell you I sure is not enough for people with drier skins. This is the typical case where brands like Clinique and Estée Lauder among others turn out to be good role models, when they launch a good skin care idea that is suitable for everybody in different consistencies! That is something that TBS should really take after now that they have finally started to make interesting skincare products for the face with their great knowledge of natural ingredients. (Not to mention all their great efforts in creating work for women in the third world). The use of kinetin is really interesting but for a dry skin the 24 hour treatment lotion just doesn't cut it. And the hevier cream in the series have been packed with illuminating particles that not everybody wants in a cream...
The pump container is also a bad choice for this product - however cute - since it will almost immediately clog up the pump, giving an unpleasant dollop of wax-like dried up cream everytime it is used with the first pump. In this case, what's wrong with a tube?

Very nice light moisturizer. I have oily eczema prone, acne prone skin & this product doesn't sting or cause me to break out. Sinks in right away, so it goes very well under sunscreen & m/u. I would actually give it 4.5 if I could because I am not very fond of the fragrance (it doesn't smell bad at all, I just don't like scented skincare in general). Using both day & night, one bottle (30ml) lasts me 2-2.5 months & costs CAD$35. Not cheap, but not ridiculously priced, so I will be repurchasing. TBS often has sales & promos, so the actual price that I would be paying is ~$25, which is a fantastic price. :) continued >>

This product was watery and did nothing for me. No moisturization, no lightening of the skin, I just didn't like it much. I gave it to my sister and she didn't like it either, she said it broke her out really bad.

I love this as a moisturizer. I don't know if it helps with aging/wrinkles but...it smells nice. Not greasy, easy to use.(I like a product in a jar) You can also get in it a pump bottle...Would buy again!
